1. Who we are
DetailHub provides software that mobile car detailing businesses (“Businesses”) use to manage bookings, customers, vehicles, staff, quotes, invoices and payments. For data that Businesses enter about their own customers, the Business is the data controller and DetailHub acts as a processor on its behalf.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, business details and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Business data: services, prices, schedules, customers, vehicles, bookings, job photos, quotes, invoices and payment records entered by a Business.
- Booking data: details customers provide when booking — name, contact details, vehicle, service address and notes.
- Technical data: IP address and basic logs used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
3. How we use information
- To provide and secure the service, including sending booking and account emails.
- To process subscription payments through our payment provider.
- To respond to support requests.
- To meet legal obligations.
4. Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages. DetailHub never receives or stores full card numbers.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run DetailHub (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) under appropriate agreements, or when required by law.
6. Security and isolation
Each Business’s data is logically isolated and access is checked on the server for every request. Job photos are stored privately and served only to authorised staff.
7. Retention
Businesses control the data they store. When an account is closed, data is deleted within a reasonable period unless we must keep it for legal reasons.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data. Customers of a Business should contact that Business first. You can also contact us.
9. Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the “last updated” date.
